Days 12 – 14 Phnom Penh
If the weather is promising we’ll stay in Kep a little longer to take pictures of the sunrise over the sea.
Breakfast and hotel check out for our drive to Phnom Penh which will take approximately 4.5 hours, passing many colourful villages and paddy fields on the way.

Pick up 14.00
Our first stop will be the infamous killing field south of Phnom Penh where mass graves are clearly visible and the monument to those who died is a stark reminder of the recent past.
After our visit we will continue to Rasian Market where you will have ample time to explore and photograph the colourful activity of this busy market and maybe do a little shopping with the locals.
Pick up 08.30
Visit the Khmer Rouge prison of Tol Sleng Museum, known as S21 and formerly a school, where victims of the regime where taken, many never to return home. This is a very solemn place with many records from the oppressive regime, include photo galleries of the prisoners.
After the prison we will drive to the National Museum and the Independent Monument Building.

The afternoon will include visits to the historic and splendid Royal Palace, the temple of Wat Phnom and the new market.
